CHANCERS were founded in 2019 by veterans of the Highland music scene - Jake Bolt (The Oxides/The Boosts & singer/songwriter Laurie Mackenzie. After adding Mikey Duncan the trio began to make waves in the local music scene and a strong local following, playing gigs around the country and playing acclaimed sets at Belladrum Festival & ‘the most famous venue in the world’ Liverpool’s Cavern Club. 3 became 5 in autumn 2019, after adding Archie Stewart on Bass and Callum Ford on drums.
After a handful of gigs - being named in the press as one of the top 5 live gigs of the year alongside Lewis Capaldi and Noel Gallagher and self releasing 2 singles, to critical acclaim, Chancers’ plans of world domination were scuppered by the pandemic.
Now the band are back with a bang! Armed with new songs, a new single, a fresh look, a killer live set and an unstoppable drive.
